I forgot how much fun gouache painting was. The way colors are mixed and the dry times feel like a mix of oil and acrylic. But the best thing about gouache is the level of control and carefree attitude I can have with it. The second most fun thing about this painting was the gold acrylic. It fits that certain aesthetic I’m going for, and I enjoy using it.
